Veretec were appointed Executive Architects on 31 Borough High Street which forms part of Sellar Properties’ major regeneration around London Bridge Station.
Project Details
The scheme created a new office building for LUL above the existing London Underground station entrance. It also formed part of the enabling and design works to facilitate The Shard.
The front glazed facade incorporates intricate decoration using a bespoke system of perforated metal sheets on the inside face of each glazing element. Each module has unique dimensions and a combination of printed and perforated backing panels to form an exceptional street facing elevation.

To avoid delay, a very tight construction programme was required to relocate LUL staff from their existing building on The Shard development site.
Completed in 2011 this building demonstrates modern methods of construction to create unique and flexible office space.
