An 18th century Grade II* listed Palladian mansion was converted to provide 17 en-suite bedrooms alongside a further 21 bedroom suites in the nearby Grade II listed historic clockhouse.

A major subterranean extension also houses a new luxury spa and swimming pool facility set beneath an existing car park. A small new build extension to the Grade II listed Brewhouse and the refurbishment of an existing Winter Garden also provide a grand function space for use by the hotel.

Drawing from our experience on a number of sensitive listed building refurbishments, and collaborating closely with Interior Designers Dennis Irvine Studio, our flexible and tailored approach provided responsive design and construction solutions to this unique and exceptional project.

The Langley opened in 2019.

“The Langley’s conversion has seen a majestic stately home restored to its former glory, ensuring the Grade II-listed status was honoured while creating an opulent country retreat with a high-end residential feel.”
