n2 site progress and façade mock-up

Our n2, Nova Evolved project is progressing on site with the core now constructed up to level 17, giving an exciting glimpse of the fabulous views the upper floors will have over central London.

n2 forms the next stage of Landsec’s Nova masterplan in Victoria and is located adjacent to Landsec’s own head office on Victoria Street.

Landsec recently appointed Mace as main contractor and they take over in July. Mace’s appointed façade subcontractor Scheldebouw completed an online inspection via video link of the façade mock-up constructed in the Netherlands.

A full-scale corner of one of the upper floors was constructed to capture a selection of façade conditions which allowed our team to refine details before the aluminium unitised curtain wall facade is rolled out across the scheme.

The mock-up was also filmed at different times of day so that the whole team could get an understanding of the impact of different light conditions on the proposals.

The facade elements are now looking great and we’re very excited to see this fantastic scheme progress over the coming months.
