Festival of Work

29.06.22 Events

Our Head of HR, Yvonne Mathurin, attended the CIPD Festival of Work at the London Olympia.

The exhibition gave attendees the opportunity to explore how professionals, businesses and organisations are adapting to the new world of work and how we can create environments for people to work better.

The day included topical discussions, debates and practical insights on how businesses are managing and coping with the many changes we’re all experiencing, how we adapt and stay agile in today’s increasingly challenging world and how we can use HR technology, learning and development to help make progress.

Of particular interest was the power of team work and how individuals within groups form a unique pattern of strengths and capabilities that we can harness to respond to rapid changes and uncertainty.

Together with this we explored new capabilities available for the future enabling of our environment and cultures to be supportive of our health and wellbeing. This included a BorrowMyDoggy initiative and a Wellbeing Village, where we listened to advice on aspects of mental and physical health.

The day ended with a breathing and mindfulness workshop and useful tips on how we can adapt our wellbeing initiatives for the benefit our studio.
